My research approach has been inter-disciplinary learning of selected topics of Maths (Discreet Mathematics), Language (Hindi), Computer Science (Python). My primary interest lies in exploring how formal mathematical and logical tools can able a machine to learn natural language, for eg. Hindi. In language, my specific research topics so far have included formal grammar based tense logic, modality, evidentiality (nominal and propositional), disjunction, and negative polarity items.

I am experienced in leveraging technological frameworks to provide a robust language based solution. I have developed minor tools using scikit, nltk etc. for higher level modelling and analysis. I am experienced in building machine learning models, identifying key architecture parameters, implementation of vectorized neural networks to language applications. [Download Single Page Resume]

Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi

Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) | GPA : 10 out of 10

This thesis applies Montague theory of grammar to fragments of ordinary Hindi and aims to provide foundation for explicit semantics of Hindi. Various fragments of Hindi viz. F1, F2, F3 etc. have been proposed based on different translation approaches.

The developed logical language, also called as Fragments, has been explained through basic expressions divided into various categories and a set of formation rules. An attempt has been made to use the concept of lambda abstraction to develop the higher-order theoretical fragment of Hindi. Later in the research, tense and modalities of Hindi language have been accounted for and important syntactic generalizations and semantic rules have been developed pertaining to the behavior of primary and secondary verbs.

This thesis applies satellite-image algorithm (developed in R) to deduce water-requirement of crop. The developed data was interpolated over a wider land-area employing various model and forecasted data used interoperable tools such as web-server, pmapper etc. Research component was developing modelling algorithm using LANDSAT images and developing software tool for knowledge dissemination.

College of Agri. Engineering & Technology, Godhra

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) | GPA : 8.5 out of 10 (Gold Medalist)

This thesis applies multi-variable regression modelling and fuzzy logic to estimate water-requirement through sensor, satellite and modelling results. Research component was integration of characteristic variables and determination of perfect operating model on sub-divided land parcels. An effort has been made to analyse the difference and the underlining reason of difference in guiding variables of Evapotranspiration at different regional scales.
